Restrictions
PDF merges are performed via the PDF Merge API. This section elaborates on the restrictions that apply to the usage of this API.
The usage from a Business Central environment is restricted to a maximum number of requests in a time period. Please note that executing your configured PDF merges count to multiple requests, depending on the number of configured PDF Merge API jobs.
A PDF merge API job can be either (1) applying an underlay, or (2) appending another PDF to the document. For example, if you have configured both an underlay merge job and an append merge job, then these involve 2 additional requests for the API.
The restrictions that are put on the number of requests are configured differently for Production and Sandbox (Demo) environments.
Production Environments¶
